Workday Technical Developer (Workday)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Workday and enterprise applications.
• Deliver integrations using EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and Workday APIs.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into reliable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in code and design reviews and mentor more junior engineers.
• Ensure integration reliability, data quality, and production readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least five years of Workday integration development experience; the posting lists six or more years of overall experience.
• Deep expertise in EIB, Workday Studio, and Core Connectors.
• Strong XSLT skills, Workday Studio orchestration experience, and hands-on experience with Workday REST/SOAP APIs.
• Strong understanding of the Workday data model, tenant configuration, security model, ISU/ISSG patterns, calculated fields, and custom reports.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Workday Pro Integrations certification.
• Experience with PICOF, PECI, or Cloud Connect for Payroll.
• Familiarity with Workday Extend.
• Exposure to multi-tenant or multi-region Workday deployments.
• Experience integrating Workday with ServiceNow or Salesforce.
