Workday Integration Consultant

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain inbound and outbound Workday integrations using EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and PECI.
• Connect Workday with payroll, benefits, IT provisioning, finance, analytics, and SaaS platforms.
• Develop maintainable XSLT transformations, reusable helper libraries, calculated fields, custom reports, and report-as-a-service integrations.
• Implement Workday REST and SOAP integrations, business processes, condition rules, error handling, retries, and notifications.
• Configure integration system users, ISSG patterns, security settings, and tenant-level integration setup.
• Support tenant refresh planning, release planning, regression testing, production incidents, technical documentation, design reviews, code reviews, and mentorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least five years of Workday integration development experience.
• Deep expertise in EIB, Workday Studio, and Core Connectors, including strong XSLT and orchestration skills.
• Hands-on experience with Workday REST and SOAP APIs, data model, tenant configuration, and security models using ISU/ISSG patterns.
• Experience with calculated fields, custom reports, troubleshooting, analytical work, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Applicants must be U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, EAD Holders, or H-1B transfer candidates; new H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.

Nice to have

• Workday Pro Integrations certification.
• Experience with PICOF, PECI, or Cloud Connect for Payroll.
• Familiarity with Workday Extend and multi-tenant or multi-region deployments.
• Experience integrating Workday with ServiceNow, Salesforce, or other major SaaS platforms.
