Workday Solutions Lead (Workday)

Location: Washington, DC; in-office attendance required 4 days per week

Salary: $125,000–$135,000 annual base salary, plus potential annual discretionary incentive compensation

What you will do

• Support, enhance, and optimize the Workday ecosystem across Core HCM and related modules.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, IT, and business stakeholders to design scalable solutions and optimize business processes.
• Configure Workday organizations, validations, notifications, calculated fields, condition rules, security assignments, and self-service functionality.
• Lead requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, documentation, and post-production support for enhancements and projects.
• Develop and maintain advanced, matrix, composite, and dashboard reports, including Discovery Boards.
• Support and troubleshoot inbound and outbound integrations, reporting discrepancies, data flows, security issues, and third-party vendor feeds.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; a concentration in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, HRIS, or a related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant technical experience and strong hands-on Workday techno-functional expertise.
• Experience supporting or leading at least one full-cycle Workday implementation.
• Strong understanding of the Workday business process framework, security model, architecture, configuration, and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, APIs, and XSLT transformations, plus complex reports and calculated fields.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, communication, project coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
