Lighting Designer II

Location: Onsite in Dallas, TX, US

Salary: $85,000–$105,000 annually

What you will do

• Coordinate and communicate with architects, engineers, manufacturers, and other allied team members.
• Develop and validate lighting design concepts against project goals and criteria.
• Plan, produce, and oversee design documentation.
• Perform construction administration tasks.
• Manage smaller projects under the guidance of a Principal when assigned as Project Manager.
• Design lighting for exterior environments, façades, public spaces, retail, corporate, academic, and healthcare facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Lighting Design or a related field such as Theater Lighting, Interior Design, Architecture, or Architectural Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in architectural lighting design.
• Experience managing client interactions and delivering presentations.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to learning.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Experience with AGI32 or ElumTools, Revit or other BIM software, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• AutoCAD experience.
• SketchUp experience.
• Rhinoceros 3D experience.
• Bluebeam experience.
