Electrical Engineer (Revit)

Location: Arlington, Virginia, United States; local candidates preferred. US-born citizenship is required due to client contract requirements.

Expected compensation: $101,304–$144,720 annually.

What you will do

• Coordinate electrical design work through schematic design, development, and contract document phases.
• Coordinate workloads, project schedules, governing-agency reviews, and code compliance activities.
• Conduct project-site work sessions with the Project Manager and other disciplines.
• Review electrical documents for interdisciplinary conflicts and incorporate approved changes, addenda, RFIs, CPRs, and change orders.
• Write and edit electrical specifications and select equipment, electrical systems, and devices.
• Provide construction contract administration and conduct QA/QC on the work of electrical engineers, coordinators, and technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an electrical emphasis.
• At least 3 years of experience in building electrical design, including lighting, power, and systems.
• Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the position location, such as a PE or P.Eng. license.
• US-born citizenship is required.
• Strong computer skills with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Revit, SKM, AGI, and Easy Power; Revit experience is required.
• Commitment to active participation in an employee-owned culture.
