Civil Engineering Intern (Transportation)

Salary: $25–$28 per hour

What you will do

• Gain real-world experience on transportation engineering projects.
• Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
• Complete assignments under the direct supervision of a professional engineer or Project Manager.
• Participate in mentoring and young professionals programs with recent graduates and company leaders.
• Support additional project and team duties as needed.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Commitment to actively participating in an employee-owned culture.

Nice to have

• Approximately two years completed toward an engineering degree and a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Knowledge of software packages related to the field of study or industry.
• Strong Hawaii roots and an interest in building a career in Hawaii.
