Civil Engineering Intern

Location: Scott Depot, West Virginia, United States; onsite office position

Salary: USD $18.00–$24.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support civil engineering design tasks, including sheet setup, drafting, and proposal development.
• Assist with site layout, grading, utility design, cost estimates, and bridge and highway design.
• Prepare civil construction drawings.
• Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, MicroStation, PondPack, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• Work under project manager and team leader supervision with engineers, scientists, and technologists.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Pursuing a bachelor's or associate degree in civil engineering, CAD, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid technical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, hard-working, and ready to learn.
