2nd Shift Press Operator (Flexographic Printing)

Location: Marietta, Georgia, USA; onsite, second shift Monday–Thursday, 2:30 p.m.–1:30 a.m.

What you will do

• Set up and operate flexographic printing presses according to job specifications.
• Mix and adjust inks, monitor viscosity, and maintain consistent color and print quality.
• Inspect registration, colors, and other specifications using visual checks and measurement devices.
• Perform press cleaning and routine maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical or print-quality issues, and clean ink pans after jobs.
• Convert master rolls into smaller rolls using slitter rewinders and tabletop finishing machines; remove, package, label, and seal finished products.
• Record production data and collaborate with supervisors, ink technicians, and quality-control staff to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience operating flexographic presses, including 4-color, 6-color, or 10-color presses.
• Technical aptitude and experience with production equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with others and support team members in a production environment.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area and following hazardous-material and machine-operation procedures.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; employment eligibility is verified through E-Verify.

Nice to have

• Experience with MA P5 or similar 10-color flexographic presses.
• Coupon and booklet printing experience.
• Knowledge of UV and water-based ink systems.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and 5S workplace organization.
