Press Operator (1-Color Flex GTO)

Location: Townsend, Massachusetts, United States; onsite, first shift Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

Compensation: $21.00–$23.00 per hour, plus eligibility for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. A $2,000 retention bonus is also offered.

What you will do

• Operate and manually set up or change over multi-color sheet-fed or high-speed continuous web presses.
• Load the correct stock, set the paper path and stretch, bend and mount plates, mix PMS inks, and complete die registration.
• Adjust ink and water balance, color matching, ink density, press attributes, and multi-color registration to meet order specifications.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance on press equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and adjust equipment, including blankets, washing units, water systems, and rollers.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• At least two years of manufacturing or printing experience, preferably two years of printing press experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• Strong communication skills and knowledge of printing processes and press operation.
