Flexographic Print Operator I 2nd Shift (Card Press)

What you will do

• Set up, operate, monitor, and optimize card press production equipment and processes.
• Execute efficient line changeovers using SMED principles and support production schedules and output targets.
• Troubleshoot equipment, material, and process issues to minimize downtime.
• Operate continuous web converting and multi-color printing equipment, including unwind and rewind systems.
• Select and install print cylinders, plates, dies, and other line components.
• Inspect products, maintain production data and daily reports, and support 5S, ISO, GMP, preventive maintenance, and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience operating complex manufacturing equipment, or enrollment in/completion of a 2-year Engineering Technology program.
• Ability to read job tickets, schedules, and work instructions and detect product defects and color variations.
• Ability to independently handle machine adjustments, troubleshooting, material inputs, and multiple process stations.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive material-handling tasks; lift up to 50 lbs independently.
• Ability to work on-site in a manufacturing environment with elevated noise, industrial chemicals, and required PPE.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience with multi-color, UV, continuous web flexographic printing equipment.
