Press Operator-1 Color Flex-2nd Shift

Location: Townsend, MA, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Compensation: $20.00–$21.00 per hour, plus potential commission or annual performance incentive.

What you will do

• Operate and manually set up or change over multi-color sheet-fed and high-speed continuous/web presses.
• Load the correct stock, set the paper path and stretch, mount plates, mix PMS inks, and configure press attributes.
• Adjust ink and water balance, color matching, ink density, die registration, and multi-color register.
• Interpret order instructions and produce work that meets customer specifications and quality standards.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance and operate press controls.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and adjust equipment, including blankets, wash-up units, water systems, and rollers.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Two years of manufacturing or printing experience required.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of printing processes and familiarity with Lean principles preferred.
