Press Operator 2 - Flexographic Press - 2nd Shift

Location: Oakdale, Minnesota, USA. Full-time, onsite position on the 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.

Salary: $28.00–$42.00 per hour, plus a $2.00 per hour shift differential. Candidates with direct experience may be eligible for a higher pay rate.

What you will do

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain flexographic press equipment.
• Complete make-ready work, including mounting plates, installing print cylinders, inspecting image positioning, and preparing web paths.
• Adjust web tension, register, color, anilox settings, and press parameters to meet production quality specifications.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain presses, including minor repairs and replacement of worn or broken parts.
• Perform periodic manufacturer-recommended maintenance.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of flexographic printing procedures, materials, specifications, equipment, and safety requirements.
• Ability to read job specifications and determine appropriate press settings, materials, and equipment usage.
• Ability to create precise web paths and make operational adjustments.
• Experience with routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs.
• Basic computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Google tools, are preferred.
• Experience with Mark Andy, Aquaflex, Comco, Webtron, Gallus, or Nil Peter presses is preferred.
