Commercial Construction Senior Superintendent - Healthcare

Location: Falls Church, Virginia, United States; on-site construction work required

Salary: $132,000–$181,500 per year, plus performance-based bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Direct on-site workflow for healthcare construction projects in accordance with project schedules, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Lead jobsite safety activities, administer the safety program for subcontractors, and support incident reporting, investigations, and inspections.
• Coordinate with the project manager to develop schedules, sequence installations, meet commitments, and resolve issues promptly.
• Manage daily logs, work orders, site conditions, punch lists, and project closeout through owner and architect acceptance.
• Organize site teams, temporary facilities and utilities, long-lead item expediting, and subcontractor coordination.
• Collaborate with project management, site operations, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and community stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of commercial construction experience, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Strong knowledge of building processes and construction best practices.
• Previous superintendent or project lead experience and the ability to organize people, tools, and time under tight deadlines.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office, Procore, Adobe, Bluebeam, and sector- or project-specific software.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong professional communication, organization, collaboration, integrity, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business; additional work experience may substitute for a degree.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience with tenant renovations, service work, occupied spaces, weekend work, or fast-paced projects.
