Superintendent - Healthcare (HCAi & Behavioral) OC/LA/IE

Location: Santa Ana, California; supervision may cover projects across Orange County, Los Angeles, and the Inland Empire

Salary: $138,000–$185,000 annual salary

What you will do

• Supervise field construction activities and coordinate subcontractors and direct-hire work.
• Maintain the CPM project schedule, plan materials and tools, and support expediting and cost control.
• Enforce safety procedures, participate in safety training, and verify subcontractor insurance certificates.
• Set quality-control standards, review drawings, specifications, and submittals, and manage punch lists.
• Lead subcontractor meetings, start-up testing, owner turnover, final close-out, and acceptance.
• Prepare time sheets, work orders, daily reports, invoice approvals, and other project documentation.

Requirements

• Prior Healthcare (HCAi) and Behavioral project experience is required.
• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience including four years as an Assistant Superintendent.
• Extensive field construction experience at a supervisory level.
• Current Safety Trained Supervisor certification, or completion within six months of hire, with active certification maintained.
• Working knowledge of construction trades and specifications, with prior foreman, journeyman, or project engineer experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws, scheduling, planning, expediting, cost control, and problem-solving.
