Process Engineer II (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Design manufacturing facilities, process equipment, facility infrastructure, and critical utility systems.
• Develop construction drawing packages and write construction specifications for basic projects.
• Support construction through RFI responses, submittal reviews, punch lists, and progress reports.
• Prepare engineering deliverables including basis of design reports, material balances, heat transfer calculations, process simulations, process descriptions, and equipment specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, external partners, vendors, manufacturers, construction trade partners, and cross-discipline project teams.
• Mentor junior design staff and oversee delegated tasks while supporting project scope, schedule, and budget delivery.

Requirements

• ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an operating company or design firm.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of applicable industry or regulatory guidance and local building codes.

Nice to have

• Fundamentals of Engineering exam registration or completion.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or comparable 2D/3D design platforms.
• Experience with fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and material and energy balance calculations.
• Experience conducting field surveys and resolving field issues.
• Experience coordinating with construction partners, vendors, and manufacturers.
