Equipment Maintenance Technician (Advanced Composites Manufacturing)

Location: Seguin, Texas, USA; onsite night-shift position

What you will do

• Inspect looms and review repair needs with the loom technician at the beginning of each shift.
• Analyze and repair mechanical problems with looms and perform daily preventive maintenance.
• Document machine maintenance and conduct regular inspections of tools and production machinery.
• Overhaul spare filling feeders and repair spare rapier profiles.
• Perform air-flow checks on air-jet reeds and adjust tolerances as needed.
• Carry out TPM and 5S activities, including cleaning and oiling machines and equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and successful completion of the required mechanical aptitude assessment.
• Ability to regularly see, stand, and walk, and frequently hear, push, pull, grasp, and finger.
• Ability to move objects up to 20 pounds regularly, 50 pounds frequently, and 100 pounds occasionally.
• Eligible candidates must be U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, qualifying temporary residents, refugees, or individuals granted asylum.
