Tooling Technician (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Prepare, design, repair, and maintain molds and tooling to support continuous production and product specifications.
• Interpret blueprints and tool drawings and implement engineering changes to molds and tools.
• Troubleshoot and repair molds, tooling, hot runner systems, valve-operated gating systems, water leaks, and other damage.
• Perform mold repairs and troubleshooting in the press during production runs.
• Conduct preventive mold maintenance and manage insert and version changes.
• Use hand tools and required personal protective and safety equipment safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• At least one year of continuous employment experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Blueprint-reading skills.
• Electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
• Knowledge of hand tool use and care.
• Availability for the 3/2/2 shift schedule, 5:00 AM–5:00 PM.
