Mega Projects Enterprise Estimator - Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant - CIG (Water/Wastewater)

Location: Remote - Florida, United States

What you will do

• Review construction plans, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Prepare detailed material quantity takeoffs for complex critical infrastructure facilities and systems.
• Evaluate materials during early and late-stage design-build work and recommend alternatives that preserve design intent while improving cost competitiveness and delivery schedules.
• Support sales teams with bid strategies, customer quotations, scope meetings, and pre- and post-takeoff knowledge transfer.
• Coordinate with vendors, design engineers, contractors, and internal pre-bid teams to clarify specialty components and unusual project elements.
• Coordinate and review associate estimators' work while providing technical mentoring and training.

Requirements

• 5+ years of estimating experience in water/wastewater treatment plant construction or critical infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience producing detailed material quantity takeoffs from construction plan sets.
• Strong understanding of civil and mechanical infrastructure systems.
• Experience working with engineering teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred; certification may be required in some areas.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with design-build projects, value engineering, or complex bid strategies.
• Experience mentoring or reviewing associate estimators' work.
