Engineering Leader - Water Systems

Location: Hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite in Northbrook, Illinois, United States.

Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year, plus annual bonus with a target payout of 20% of base salary.

What you will do

• Manage engineering capacity, capabilities, resource allocation, workflow, and project demand.
• Lead and develop team members through coaching, performance management, training, career counseling, and feedback.
• Provide technical guidance and engineering judgment for water systems testing projects, customer complaints, unusual requests, and technical issues.
• Support project handlers in establishing test programs, managing scope and specification changes, customer notifications, and completion requirements.
• Drive process improvements, quality compliance, customer loyalty, and financial results.
• Build cross-functional and customer relationships while supporting business initiatives, growth, and transformation efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business.
• At least 5 years of experience working in an analytical laboratory.
• Experience with NSF 60, NSF 61, and NSF 372 standards.
• Experience operating and maintaining Agilent GCMS and ICPMS instruments.
• Experience validating GCMS data for BNA Method 625 and VOC Method 524.
• Leadership experience, strategic planning, data analysis, performance management, and basic English proficiency.
