Managing Attorney

Location: Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, US; on-site/hybrid based on business and client needs

Salary: $200,000–$250,000 annual

What you will do

• Lead the day-to-day performance of attorneys and paralegals.
• Guide legal strategy, case progression, work quality, deadlines, trial readiness, and matter budgets.
• Conduct structured case reviews, monitor legal risks and staffing needs, and allocate work across legal professionals.
• Coach, mentor, and evaluate attorneys while addressing performance and escalation issues.
• Improve legal processes, standards, workflows, and accountability across the practice.
• Maintain an active litigation practice and support the responsible use of AI and legal technology.

Requirements

• 10–18 years of litigation experience.
• Active Texas Bar license in good standing required.
• Current Dallas-Fort Worth presence or willingness to work in the DFW area required.
• Strong experience in commercial, real estate, title, construction, business, insurance defense, or related civil litigation.
• Significant courtroom experience, including first-chair trial experience or comparable responsibility.
• Experience supervising legal professionals, managing competing priorities, and using legal technology or AI tools.
