Legal Innovation & Operations Lead

Location: U.S. roles are referenced, with compensation determined by work location and U.S. market-based pay zones.

Salary: $217,800–$326,800 USD per year, depending on location, skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions.

What you will do

• Define and execute the legal technology strategy, including the vision, roadmap, and delivery of productivity tools.
• Oversee legal systems such as contract lifecycle management, eBilling, knowledge management, and workflow platforms.
• Manage core digital platforms and optimize their efficiency, usability, integrations, and cost.
• Partner with Legal, Policy, IT, Finance, and Business Operations to evaluate and implement technology solutions.
• Lead cross-functional, multi-quarter projects involving automation, AI, and data-driven insights.
• Manage vendors, budgets, and third-party spend while driving measurable operational value.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in legal operations, technology strategy, or a related operations-focused role.
• Experience leading automation or AI initiatives that produced measurable improvements.
• Experience managing budgets, timelines, stakeholders, and detailed operational follow-through.
• Ability to translate technical details into clear business value and communicate with varied stakeholders.
• Collaborative, curious, and adaptable approach to experimentation and process improvement.
• Experience building trust with senior leaders and individual contributors.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with DocuSign CLM or workflow automation platforms.
• Hands-on experience implementing legal technology systems.
