Legal Technology & AI Attorney - Real Estate (AI)

Location: Based in a U.S. office — Century City, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, New York City (preferred), Orange County, Palo Alto, San Francisco, or Washington, D.C.

Annual compensation: $250,000–$290,000, depending on qualifications and other operational considerations.

What you will do

• Identify, evaluate, prototype, and implement AI, automation, document automation, and emerging technology solutions for real estate legal work.
• Participate in pilots involving AI-assisted research, drafting, knowledge extraction, and real estate data and market analytics platforms.
• Collaborate with attorneys, technologists, Research, Practice Group Management, and Information Technology to design user-centered tools and workflows.
• Develop and maintain knowledge management resources for acquisitions and dispositions, financing, development, leasing, joint ventures, land use, and related real estate matters.
• Review and update templates, forms, precedents, guidance materials, and playbooks for legal accuracy and technology-enabled use.
• Train attorneys and staff, gather stakeholder feedback, and support continuous improvement of knowledge products and technology adoption.

Requirements

• J.D., Bachelor of Laws, or equivalent with strong academic credentials.
• Admission to practice and good standing in the state where the candidate will be based.
• At least 4 years of experience in real estate legal practice; other transactional backgrounds may be considered case by case.
• Strong interest in AI and emerging technology and the ability to apply legal training to workflow design, tool development, or process improvement.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, critical-thinking, collaboration, and independent-judgment skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information discreetly.
