Pest Technician I (Pest Control)

Location: Warren, Ohio, United States; on-site residential service work

Base pay: $18.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect residential properties for pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved chemicals, baits, and traps while following safety standards.
• Educate customers on pest prevention and recommend ways to reduce future infestations.
• Build customer relationships, schedule appointments, support sales, and develop new customer business.
• Maintain, stock, and safely operate pest control equipment and a company-provided service vehicle.
• Follow federal, state, and local regulations for pest control products and safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.
• Clean-shaven face to ensure that respirators properly seal.
• Basic reading, writing, verbal communication, and math skills, including following product-label mixing instructions.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday and weekends as needed, indoors and outdoors, in confined spaces and physically demanding conditions.
• Willingness to learn pest control; required licenses and certificates are covered by the company.
