Maintenance Technician (Plastics)

Location: Deforest, Wisconsin, United States; onsite

Salary: Up to $35/hour

What you will do

• Maintain and repair processing, facility, utility, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on processing and support equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and determine dimensional changes required for parts.
• Fabricate and repair parts using brazing, soldering, welding equipment, and hand tools.
• Read blueprints, specifications, diagrams, and service manuals to complete repairs and installations.
• Document maintenance actions, irregularities, and continuing needs in the EAM system while supporting safety, CI, 5S, and STW activities.

Requirements

• HSED/GED required.
• 2–5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in a plastics or fabrication environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to work safely with required personal protective and safety equipment.
