Director, Global Commercial Finance Business Partner

Location: Remote/home-based in the United States; Philadelphia, PA listed

Base salary: $180,000–$270,000 per year for US-based candidates, with potential bonus, incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Serve as the lead Finance adviser to Global Commercial function heads and senior leadership.
• Embed financial insight, challenge, and recommendations into strategic and operational decisions.
• Own financial planning, forecasting, performance outcomes, and alignment with enterprise objectives.
• Lead performance discussions covering portfolio drivers, risks, opportunities, cost discipline, and productivity.
• Evaluate major initiatives and investments, framing options, trade-offs, and financial implications.
• Apply financial governance frameworks and strengthen accountability, transparency, and controls.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant or MBA.
• Typically 12+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior business partnering roles.
• Strong understanding of life sciences, such as R&D, Tech Ops, Commercial, or regulated environments.
• Ability to influence and challenge senior leaders with confidence and credibility.
• Experience leading and influencing within a complex, cross-matrixed organization.
• Strong commercial judgment, enterprise mindset, leadership presence, proactivity, and curiosity.
