Sr Director, Business Finance

Location: Remote

Salary: $237,486–$260,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Own FP&A for Innovation & Technology and Lab Operations, including annual planning, forecasting, and in-year financial management.
• Design and implement monthly financial operating rhythms that support accountability and proactive decisions with senior leaders.
• Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews and develop the financial narrative for executive audiences.
• Prepare and support board-level financial presentations for SVPs.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities and guide resource investment decisions.
• Co-own the SIOP process with supply chain and build models, templates, dashboards, and decision frameworks.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive finance experience.
• Significant FP&A business-partnering experience at Director level or above.
• Experience building forecasting models, planning cycles, and business review cadences from the ground up.
• Proven ability to hold senior business leaders accountable for financial performance.
• Strong financial storytelling and executive presence, including boardroom credibility.
• Player-coach leadership style with experience developing finance teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in life sciences, diagnostics, biotech, or healthcare.
• Exposure to technology or laboratory and operations financial models.
• Experience supporting rapid scaling or transformation.
