Director, Finance - UCAN Pharmaceuticals

Location: Deerfield, Illinois, United States; flexible workplace policy with a required minimum number of days onsite each week

Salary: $175,000–$225,000 annually, plus potential discretionary bonuses, commission, and/or long-term incentives

What you will do

• Lead financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, annual operating plans, and strategic planning for the UCAN Pharmaceuticals and Clinical Nutrition businesses.
• Provide finance leadership for new product launches, business development initiatives, pricing, contracting, tenders, and customer and vendor negotiations.
• Develop product models and analyze price-volume relationships, demand, margins, gross-to-net performance, profitability, and cash flow.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives, including Canadian compounding profitability improvements and business development integration.
• Partner with Accounting, Investor Relations, Marketing Analytics, Sales, Supply Chain, and Regulatory/Quality teams.
• Manage business risks, internal controls, GAAP and SEC compliance, and develop a high-performing cross-region finance team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of progressive finance experience, including experience building and leading teams.
• Pharmaceuticals industry experience supporting commercial operations in a highly regulated environment.
• Experience with pricing and contracting, product launch financials, gross-to-net and margin analytics, and cross-functional commercial partnership.
• Working knowledge of GAAP, tax, and legal accounting; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 25% and work under the required onsite schedule.
