Senior Manufacturing Engineer

What you will do

• Lead Engineers and Technicians within the Manufacturing Group and integrate engineering into the production support team.
• Set engineering goals and objectives aligned with the business plan, customer requirements, quality standards, delivery targets, and cost objectives.
• Implement permanent technical and system solutions using a methodical, structured problem-solving approach.
• Improve service, delivery, quality, and cost metrics through Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Investigate new process technologies and assess their competitive benefits and implementation costs.
• Oversee New Part Introduction in collaboration with the Prototyping and NPI Group, including short- and long-term cost reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering at Level 8, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least five years of relevant engineering experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
• Post-qualification experience in people management and continuous improvement within manufacturing.
• Strong data analysis, interpersonal, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with structured problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies.

Nice to have

• Qualifications in People Management, Project Management, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma.
