Senior Engineer, Molding (Injection Molding and Tooling): Leading the development, validation, commercialization, and optimization of injection-moulded components, tooling, and manufacturing processes with an accent on supplier management, technical documentation, and cross-functional project leadership. Focus on designing and qualifying moulds, applying design of experiments and process optimization, and introducing robust validated processes into high-volume manufacturing environments.

What you will do
- Provide technical leadership for injection-moulded components, tooling, and manufacturing processes across global operations.
- Manage technical projects from concept through implementation, including scope, schedules, budgets, risks, resources, and deliverables.
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Research and Development, and New Product Development on product lifecycle activities.
- Lead supplier identification, selection, qualification, and ongoing performance management.
- Develop component specifications, technical drawings, CAD models, process documentation, and validation records.
- Plan prototype, pilot, and proof-of-concept activities; oversee mould design, build, qualification, and implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 5–8 years of related experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in injection moulding, tooling, process development, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience leading or managing technical projects.
- Expertise in injection moulding processes, tooling, qualification, and validation.
- Experience with CAD software, technical documentation, supplier management, budgeting, and cost control.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical writing, and communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business applications.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience in mould making, process development, and high-volume manufacturing.
- Experience with scientific moulding, design of experiments, design for manufacturability, and statistical analysis tools.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD applications, including SolidWorks.
- Experience with highly automated manufacturing systems and global cross-functional teams.
