Drillers Helper (Geotechnical)

Location: Cinnaminson, New Jersey, United States; onsite fieldwork with 40% travel

Salary: USD $23.50–$30.90 per hour

What you will do

• Assist the senior driller with daily drilling operations and drilling rig equipment handling.
• Load, unload, transport, and handle drill rods, casing, tooling, and materials.
• Set up and break down drilling rigs and jobsite equipment.
• Mix and manage drilling fluids and materials.
• Perform equipment maintenance, cleaning, inspections, site restoration, and jobsite cleanup.
• Communicate with the driller and crew while following safety and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• One to two years of drilling experience preferred; applicants with basic mechanical knowledge or similar experience may be trained.
• Experience operating heavy equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL Class A or B preferred.
• Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions throughout the year.
• Minimum 40 hours per week, occasional weekends, and 40% travel required; must be at least 21 years old.
