ES Field Technician I (Driver Non-CDL)

Location: Bridgeport, CT, USA; onsite field work

Pay range: $21.15–$29.10 per hour, depending on locality

What you will do

• Perform emergency response and hazardous and non-hazardous spill cleanup.
• Carry out Hazmat decontamination, confined-space entry, tank cleaning, drum handling, sweeping, shoveling, and high-pressure washing.
• Operate roll-off, vacuum, and box trucks, skid steers, forklifts, pumps, and pallet jacks.
• Respond to customer spills and emergencies during and outside normal business hours.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections, maintain vehicle logs, and perform equipment and site housekeeping.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• DOT qualification or ability to become DOT qualified to drive non-CDL vehicles weighing 10,000–26,000 pounds.
• Ability to pass 40-hour HAZWOPER training after hire.
• Ability to use heavy and light equipment, hand tools, shop tools, and instruments with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities, including physical field activities.

Nice to have

• Current 40-hour HAZWOPER training.
• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
