Geotechnical Driller (Full-time)

Location: Onsite in Naples, Florida, USA

Salary: $26.00–$36.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and certifications.

What you will do

• Operate mud rotary wash (SPT) and auger drilling rigs for geotechnical investigations.
• Perform test borings, soil sampling, clearing operations, and boring location activities.
• Train and direct drillers’ helpers and supervise drill rig crews.
• Drive drill rigs and support vehicles safely and professionally.
• Maintain and repair drilling equipment, rigs, and support vehicles.
• Keep detailed field records, classify soils, and prepare field boring logs.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of geotechnical drilling experience required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Ability to work outdoors in all climates.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds multiple times per day.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Willingness to start early and work late when necessary.

Nice to have

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Certifications relevant to geotechnical drilling.
