Patient Service Representative - Orthopaedics - Full Time

Location: Manchester, NH, United States; onsite, Monday–Friday, 8:15 am–4:45 pm

Elliot Orthopedics, a department of Elliot Hospital within hirify.global, provides individualized diagnosis and treatment for orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, trauma, joint replacement, and musculoskeletal conditions.

What you will do

• Greet and register patients and notify medical staff of arrivals.
• Verify patient demographics, addresses, insurance status, and medical records.
• Schedule referrals, specialist appointments, hospital testing, lab work, follow-ups, and specialty appointments.
• Complete prior authorizations according to insurance requirements.
• Check patients out, collect payments, and post patient charges using appropriate diagnostic and CPT coding when required.
• Maintain provider schedules and recommend improvements to registration and administrative processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting performing similar functions preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• No certification or licensure required.
