What you will do

• Calculate and provide accurate cost estimates for procedures based on insurance benefits and historical data.
• Verify insurance eligibility and coverage levels for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial plans.
• Review and submit prior authorizations for scheduled procedures based on clinical data.
• Communicate directly with patients regarding financial liability and discuss payment options.
• Process patient payments over the phone and maintain detailed account notes.
• Ensure all activities adhere to HIPAA privacy regulations and client-specific protocols.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work a full-time 8-hour shift in the Hawaii–Aleutian Time Zone (Monday-Friday).
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Excel.
• Strict compliance with patient confidentiality policies and HIPAA regulations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
