Product Support Engineer III (Aerospace & Defense)

Location: Shalimar, Florida, United States; hybrid or office work may be required, with deployment on a 60/60 rotation.

What you will do

• Lead technical support and troubleshooting for product and system prototypes.
• Manage product installation, testing, validation, and demonstrations.
• Diagnose complex technical issues and defects and implement corrective actions with engineering teams.
• Assess customer needs and provide technical solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation and reports.
• Drive continuous improvement in product support and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; a higher relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• At least 6 years of experience in technical support or engineering, with advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with radio frequency systems, wireless networks, tactical communications, personal computers, and product installation and testing.
• Strong communication, customer interface, and technical documentation skills.
• Understanding of system-level maintenance for networks and communications systems.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and a current full-scope polygraph are required; U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice to have

• Prototype or concept product development experience.
• Aerospace and Defense industry, government, or U.S. military experience.
• Technical certifications such as Six Sigma or PMP.
• Knowledge of military operations, logistics, communications systems, sensors, vehicle installation, and maintenance procedures.
• Leadership experience in a military or civilian organization.
