Technical Product Support Engineer III (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Gloucester, MA, United States. Travel required 50% of the time. Relocation eligibility is not available.

Salary: $96,000–$132,000 per year.

What you will do

• Provide technical support for customer escalations, fleet performance, system installations, upgrades, and improvement programs.
• Act as the technical escalation point between customers, field engineers, technicians, product support personnel, and the division.
• Support Alpha and Beta site installation, operation, calibration, servicing, and testing of new hardware, software, and processes.
• Initiate and review engineering change orders and communicate validated fixes to field teams.
• Generate and present system performance metrics, including MTBF, MTBI, availability, process data, and spending analysis.
• Create, review, and present technical improvement, system upgrade, and customer support documentation while ensuring field implementation.

Requirements

• Conceptual and practical expertise in the relevant technical discipline, with basic knowledge of related disciplines.
• Ability to solve complex problems by analyzing information from multiple sources and applying sound judgment.
• Knowledge of technical best practices and how the discipline integrates with related areas.
• Ability to explain difficult or sensitive technical information and build consensus.
• Availability for 50% travel and work based in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
