Manufacturing Manager

Location: Statham, Georgia, USA; onsite manufacturing role

What you will do

• Oversee manufacturing from design release through shipment, including mechanical assembly, machining, and fabrication.
• Lead plant safety, facilities management, manufacturing quality, capacity planning, utilization, scheduling, and shop order management.
• Implement consistent mechanical and electrical machine-building processes and review engineering process changes.
• Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement to reduce machinery build costs and lead times.
• Manage workload, capacity, work definitions, schedules, task assignments, and deadline adherence in collaboration with department managers.
• Lead training, hiring, coaching, performance management, KPI development, budgeting, troubleshooting, and quality maintenance.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of manufacturing or operations experience, including leadership in custom capital goods.
• Experience managing departments of 20 or more employees, including manufacturing problem-solving, personnel management, and employee morale development.
• Proficiency with MS Office and knowledge of MRP/ERP systems; Ultimate Software and Syteline are preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical thinking, root-cause problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, work autonomously, and lead, coach, and inspire employees.
• Willingness to work extended hours and some weekends when staff work overtime. Employment eligibility in the United States is required.
