Consultant (PhD Candidates) - 2027 Start Date (Life Sciences)

Location: Hybrid positions in Boston, San Diego, Durham, Emeryville, Evanston, Princeton, New York City, Rockville, or Thousand Oaks, United States. Ability to travel up to 10% is required.

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 per year.

What you will do

• Develop code to ingest, clean, and process life sciences client data independently and with project teams.
• Build, run, and troubleshoot data processes; perform analyses; and ensure data accuracy.
• Create advanced dashboards, reports, slide decks, and other client deliverables.
• Communicate analytical results and project status to clients and align expectations for delivery.
• Act as a client point of contact, lead client sub-teams, and coordinate timely, accurate delivery.
• Guide Associate Consultants and complete advanced analytical and project work.

Requirements

• PhD, or a bachelor's or master's degree with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong academic record, analytical and quantitative aptitude, problem-solving skills, and interest in coding.
• Basic coding skills in Python, SAS, SQL, R, or similar technologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, plus strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organization, time management, collaboration, adaptability, active listening, and small-group leadership skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of data visualization software such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience applying coding to data modeling, analysis, and problem solving.
