Advisory Services Intern (Healthcare)

Salary: $52,000–$78,000 per year

What you will do

• Collaborate with Advisory consultants on healthcare-system performance-improvement engagements.
• Collect data, conduct or coordinate analyses, interpret findings, and develop conclusions.
• Interview clients to clarify objectives and document business requirements and needs.
• Create reports, presentations, and other deliverables for client audiences.
• Support clients in implementing recommended changes under team leadership.
• Participate in practice-development activities and learn hirify.global technologies and services.

Requirements

• 0 or more years of applicable experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to gather and research data using common analytical methods and tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and electronically, work collaboratively, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Attention to detail, independent decision-making, and ability to operate computer programs and software.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in healthcare, business, or finance.
• Experience or demonstrated interest in healthcare performance improvement.
• Statistical tools such as R, Python, SAS, or Matlab; advanced Excel; Tableau; or business intelligence.
• Knowledge of risk management, Lean Process Improvement, or Six Sigma.
• Evidence of leadership and ability to demonstrate value from completed work.
