Senior Consultant (Life Sciences – Compliance)

Location: Washington, DC, USA; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $80,990–$153,550 annually

What you will do

• Support healthcare and life sciences projects covering compliance program development, reimbursement policy research, regulatory compliance, risk assessments, due diligence, and commercialization strategy.
• Analyze large healthcare datasets, identify trends, and prepare data summaries and insights.
• Conduct research through surveys, interviews, and reviews of government and healthcare policies and procedures.
• Evaluate business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and develop client recommendations.
• Prepare client reports, contribute to peer-reviewed publications, and communicate project status to project managers.
• Manage multiple client priorities, timelines, budgets, and project-related issues; participate in industry conferences and professional organizations.

Requirements

• Four-year degree and at least three years of professional experience.
• Three or more years of progressive healthcare industry experience, including healthcare data analysis, life sciences research, compliance, or related work.
• Strong analytical, research, writing, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Experience with data manipulation and financial modeling; proficiency with Excel and data analytics is required.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple client-related priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and work non-traditional hours when required by client engagements.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or a related field.
• MPH, MBA, MHA, or another healthcare-related master’s degree.
• Knowledge of global spend transparency requirements, including the US Sunshine Act.
• Experience with SAS, SQL, R, Access, Tableau, SPSS, Six Sigma, physician compensation analysis, or peer-reviewed publications.
