Senior Consultant (Life Sciences – Compliance)

Location: Washington, DC, United States; hybrid work arrangement. Travel up to 25% and non-traditional hours may be required for client engagements.

Salary: $80,990–$153,550 per year, depending on skills, experience, qualifications, degrees, certifications, work arrangements, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Support life sciences and healthcare projects involving compliance programs, reimbursement policy research, regulatory compliance, risk assessments, due diligence, and commercialization strategy.
• Analyze large healthcare datasets, identify trends, and perform data summarization, physician compensation analysis, and economic modeling.
• Research government and healthcare policies through surveys, interviews, and policy reviews.
• Evaluate client business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and provide recommendations on business conduct and related training.
• Manage multiple client priorities, communicate project status, monitor timelines and budgets, and resolve project issues.
• Prepare client reports and contribute to peer-reviewed publications, industry conferences, and professional organizations.

Requirements

• Four-year degree required.
• At least three years of professional experience required.
• Three or more years of progressive healthcare industry experience preferred, particularly in life sciences compliance and ethics.
• Strong analytical, research, writing, verbal, presentation, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple client-related priorities, and work non-traditional hours when required by client engagements.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or a related field.
• MPH, MBA, MHA, or another healthcare-related master’s degree.
• Knowledge of global spend transparency requirements, including the US Sunshine Act.
• Proficiency with Excel and data analytics; SAS experience is highly preferred, with SQL or R also relevant.
• Experience with financial modeling, peer-reviewed publications, performance improvement, Six Sigma, Access, Tableau, or SPSS.
