Consultant, Performance Improvement (Healthcare)

Location: US - National; travel up to 20% of the time

What you will do

• Implement advisory solutions with Performance Improvement team members and demonstrate their value throughout client engagements.
• Build complex analytical models and conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify healthcare improvement opportunities.
• Develop financial analyses, statistical reports, visualizations, presentations, work plans, issue logs, and status reports.
• Participate in client interviews and meetings with end users, technical developers, clinical providers, and senior leaders.
• Review and validate analyses, findings, observations, and client-ready deliverables.
• Contribute to practice knowledge development and analytical tool development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; data science, finance, business, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.
• At least 2 years of healthcare industry experience, preferably in revenue cycle functions such as patient access, HIM, coding, revenue integrity, billing, follow-up, or denials management.
• Strong communication, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, manage multiple assignments, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of analytical and programming tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Python is required; GenAI assistants such as Copilot are also listed among the tools used.
