TL;DR
Systems Integration Engineer (Automotive): Integrating chassis control systems for automotive and off-road applications with an accent on sensors, data acquisition, electrical architectures, wiring schematics, and embedded software. Focus on bringing up, troubleshooting, validating, and documenting control systems involving ECUs, communication networks, and vehicle inputs and outputs.

What you will do

  • Integrate chassis control systems for automotive, off-road vehicles, ATVs, snowmobiles, motorcycles, and future transportation models.
  • Design and implement sensors, data acquisition equipment, electrical architectures, and wiring schematics.
  • Lead system bring-up, troubleshooting, and validation of control systems combining hardware and embedded software.
  • Verify ECU inputs and outputs, control logic, sensors, electronic control units, and communication networks.
  • Establish system requirements with product planning, hardware, control systems, and software teams.
  • Create bring-up procedures, wiring diagrams, installation guides, system architecture documentation, and block diagrams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, automotive, or a related engineering field.
  • 3–5 years of engineering experience in the automotive or industrial mobile machine industry.
  • Hands-on system integration and vehicle issue resolution experience involving ECUs, sensors, and communication networks.
  • Knowledge of CAN, CAN FD, LIN, PSI5, FlexRay, CAN bus architecture, physical-layer rules, and raw-data encoding and decoding.
  • Experience with CAN analysis tools, ECU flashing tools such as vFlash, electrical test equipment, and basic circuit interpretation.
  • Basic programming in Python, C/C++, or MATLAB; strong technical communication, troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-functional issue-resolution skills.

Nice to have

  • Simulink, auto-code generation, DSP, signal conditioning, real-time systems, and embedded concepts.
  • CANoe, CANape, XCP/CCP, TCP/IP, UDP/IP, HIL setups, or automated measurement-data validation.
  • Chassis systems, sensor integration and calibration, electromechanical actuators, and version-control or issue-tracking tools.
