Vehicle Integration Engineer (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States. On-site position.

What you will do

• Integrate sensors, actuators, ECUs, networking and communication devices, and power delivery systems into base vehicle platforms.
• Maintain vehicle integration design documentation.
• Act as the first responder for vehicle issues.
• Diagnose vehicle problems hands-on, identify root causes, and implement resolutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a relevant industry.
• Bachelor's degree in automotive, electrical, IT, or a related engineering field, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience diagnosing automotive bus systems and disassembling and assembling vehicle parts.
• Experience with GPS, cameras, LiDAR, CAN, and other automotive communication protocols.
• Proficiency with automotive bus analysis tools such as Vector CANoe or CANalyzer.
• Experience with sensor calibration for autonomous driving platforms, plus exposure to MATLAB/Simulink and Linux.

• Experience with the latest sensor technologies for autonomous driving platforms.
