What you will do
- Manage industrial, environmental, and asset safety activities and communicate company safety and environmental programs.
- Monitor corrective actions, coordinate EHS activities across departments, and conduct hazard-identification tours with PPE oversight.
- Evaluate and release new or modified machinery, equipment, and work areas, including validation before hazardous work by employees and contractors.
- Develop and implement the environmental program, including chemical product and hazardous waste controls.
- Investigate accidents and incidents and coordinate emergency brigades and CSH activities.
- Coordinate EHS metrics reviews, training programs, and improvement projects for machinery and equipment.
Requirements
- Degree in industrial, environmental, or related engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience as an EHS Supervisor.
- Extensive knowledge of EHS legal requirements and experience with government procedures and plant closures.
- Experience implementing and monitoring ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and Clean Industry requirements.
- Knowledge of property security, CCV, CTPAT, forklift and driver requirements, and hazardous-work equipment validation.
- Intermediate to advanced English and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
