Manufacturing Supervisor IV (MedTech)

Location: Onsite in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico

What you will do

• Lead daily manufacturing operations and provide technical expertise to meet safety, quality, compliance, waste, efficiency, and cycle-time targets.
• Supervise production personnel and collaborate with support departments to achieve Business Unit goals.
• Ensure adherence to Environmental, Health and Safety policies, quality systems, and manufacturing standards.
• Manage human, capital, and material resources to optimize plant performance.
• Develop employees through mentoring, recognition, communication, and talent-promotion activities.
• Coordinate ERP, Kronos, and other required data-entry activities, while escalating business issues and supporting labor-problem resolution with Human Resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or a related technical field.
• More than 6 years of experience as a production supervisor; 5 years of supervisory experience in the medical industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, documentation, quality-system requirements, Lean Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Production Control.
• Leadership, teamwork, communication, initiative, creativity, assertiveness, and customer-centered decision-making skills.
• Basic understanding of Environmental, Health and Safety standards and Mexican labor regulations.
• Intermediate bilingual Spanish and English communication skills required. Microsoft Office and ERP system knowledge is also required.

Nice to have

• Experience supervising in the medical industry.
• Knowledge of Agile Manufacturing, Assembly Operations, Manufacturing Science and Technology, validation master plans, predictive analytics, or performance measurement.
