Supplier Quality Engineer (SMT)

Location: Aguascalientes, Mexico; onsite, full time

What you will do

• Lead and support daily supplier quality management activities at the manufacturing site.
• Drive supplier containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions.
• Communicate supplier quality issues and verify timely closure and effectiveness of actions.
• Support new product development, change management, supplier reviews, and supplier selection.
• Assist with audits and monitor supplier quality performance against expectations and targets.
• Promote best practices and alignment across the supply chain and regions.

Requirements

• University degree, such as a bachelor's degree, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in supplier quality or manufacturing process engineering.
• Experience with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and/or electronic components.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong communication, organization, planning, time management, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple competing tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accountability, integrity, and ethical standards.
