Location: Chicago, United States

Base salary: $150,000–$210,000 annually. Total estimated compensation including annual incentive compensation: $187,250–$283,750.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end consulting engagements from digital strategy development through solution implementation for healthcare providers.
• Manage project teams, budgets, timelines, quality assurance, mentoring, and delivery of client work.
• Advise C-level executives and senior leaders on operating models, digital roadmaps, and high-stakes transformation initiatives.
• Assess clinical and administrative workflows and develop business cases addressing cost reduction, revenue growth, and clinical outcomes.
• Oversee EHR and ERP optimization, patient engagement platforms, data integration, and change management initiatives.
• Build client relationships, develop proposals and thought leadership, and contribute to practice growth and new business development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree such as an MBA is desirable.
• 12+ years of management consulting or related advisory experience focused on the healthcare provider sector.
• Significant experience at a Big 4 or top-tier management consulting firm.
• Experience leading digital transformation projects involving ERP, EHR, AI, telehealth, technology implementation, and data analytics.
• Deep knowledge of healthcare provider operations, including acute care, ambulatory settings, patient access, and clinical workflows.
• Ability to lead complex projects, manage high-performing teams, and communicate effectively with senior clients.

Nice to have

• Experience with specific digital health technologies or platforms.
• Knowledge of value-based care and other emerging healthcare payment models.
• Experience with healthcare mergers, acquisitions, and integration.
• PMP, Lean Six Sigma, CPHIMS, or another relevant certification.
