Senior Director - Technology Transformation Advisory (Financial Services)

Location: Remote - US

Base salary: $183,400–$229,300 USD per year, plus annual discretionary/utilization bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Help build and scale the Technology Transformation advisory capability, including offerings, methods, frameworks, accelerators, and executive-ready deliverables.
• Advise C-suite and senior stakeholders on technology modernization, cloud transformation, application modernization, data and AI enablement, operating model redesign, and transformation sequencing.
• Lead executive workshops, discovery sessions, current-state assessments, future-state design, and roadmap development engagements.
• Translate business objectives into technology strategies, investment cases, capability models, and multi-year transformation plans.
• Partner with sales, account, industry, and go-to-market teams to shape and close advisory-led transformation opportunities.
• Collaborate with architecture, delivery, organizational change, and experience design teams while developing advisory talent and reusable intellectual property.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in technology consulting, digital transformation, enterprise architecture, business transformation, or related advisory roles.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role covering client relationships, consulting delivery, team leadership, and business development.
• Proven experience advising C-suite and senior business or technology executives.
• Strong understanding of enterprise modernization across cloud, data platforms, AI, applications, integration, cybersecurity, and managed services.
• Experience developing transformation strategies, business cases, operating models, multi-year roadmaps, and selling advisory or transformation engagements.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and convert complex client challenges into structured, actionable plans.

Nice to have

• Experience at a top-tier consulting, systems integration, cloud services, or transformation firm.
• Experience building or scaling an advisory, strategy, or transformation practice.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or similar enterprise platforms.
• Experience with AI-enabled transformation, data modernization, application modernization, platform engineering, or product operating model design.
• MBA, advanced technical degree, or relevant cloud, architecture, agile, change management, or transformation certifications.
