TL;DR
Sales Account Manager, Nordic (Biotech): Developing biotech customer accounts and new business opportunities across Sweden, Norway, and Denmark with an accent on scientific customer engagement, territory strategy, and long-term relationship building. Focus on prospecting, negotiating and closing deals, coordinating cross-functional solutions, and representing GenScript at scientific industry events.

Location: 100% remote in Sweden, Norway, or Denmark; willingness to travel up to 30% required.

What you will do

  • Manage assigned biotech accounts and build partnerships with organizations and key decision-makers.
  • Prospect new accounts, identify growth opportunities, and secure business across new and existing customers.
  • Map customer needs, competition, and untapped segments to create territory business plans and sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with technical, marketing, project management, and support teams to deliver customer solutions.
  • Conduct customer visits and sales calls, maintain accurate CRM records, and follow up on interactions.
  • Share market intelligence and customer feedback, and represent hirify.global at conferences and scientific meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences and at least one year of sales experience in life sciences, biotechnology, or the CRO sector.
  • Hands-on laboratory experience and confidence participating in scientific customer discussions.
  • Experience with prospecting, territory and lead management, negotiation, and closing.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, self-organization, and independent-working skills.
  • Fluent English communication skills required.
  • Must be located in Sweden, Norway, or Denmark and willing to travel up to 30%.

Nice to have

  • Master's or PhD in a life science field.
  • Fluency in Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish.
  • Knowledge of gene synthesis, proteins, peptides, antibodies, or cell line development services.
  • Experience working in global, cross-functional, multicultural teams.
