Hourly pay range: $16.50–$17.50

What you will do

• Direct newscasts and coordinate studio action with directors and production staff.
• Operate studio and field cameras for live and taped events, including shot composition, focus, exposure, and lighting adjustments.
• Operate audio equipment, support sound recording, and provide audio production assistance.
• Run editing systems, electronic titling, video switching, digital video effects, and studio graphics systems.
• Support digital media productions and coordinate with relevant departments and outside production facilities.
• Build and decorate sets, manage props, convert analog or printed materials to digital formats, and maintain production equipment and records.

Requirements

• Degree in Communication or a related field, or equivalent training and experience.
• Ability to interact effectively with video journalists, anchors, videographers, news managers, production staff, and engineering staff.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
